Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki is pleased to announce that 2018 AMA Amsoil AX Champion Jacob Hayes will join Tyler Medaglia as teammate in the remaining three rounds of the MRC Triple Crown Series 450 MX Tour. Hayes, who hails from Greensboro, North Carolina, raced the Canadian National AX series in 2015, which he won, and was a steady fixture in the MX2 Motocross Championship in 2017. Full Story…

Overall 450 win for Tyler Medaglia at Gopher Dunes

Round 6 of the MRC Triple Crown Series MX Tour, which was run at Gopher Dunes in Courtland, Ontario on Saturday, July 14th, ended up to be a bittersweet affair for Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki. While it proved to be a banner day for the team’s 450 Pro rider, Tyler Medaglia, who claimed the overall with 4-1 moto results, his teammate Shawn Maffenbeier became the victim of a bike-crunching crash in moto 2, which eventually saw him exit the 250 Pro class before the checkered flag. Podiums for Tyler Medaglia & Shawn Maffenbeier at Sand Del Lee

The eastern leg of the MRC’s Triple Crown Series MX Tour, which was launched this past Saturday at Sand Del Lee Motocross Park in Ottawa, was by all accounts a rock ’em sock ’em affair, with all out, take it to the limit racing in both classes. Jeremy Medaglia slated to fill in for an injured Mike Alessi

Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki has engaged the services of Jeremy Medaglia to fill in for an injured Mike Alessi, beginning this weekend at Sand Del Lee Motocross Park as the MRC Triple Crown Series MX Tour kicks for the eastern leg of the 250 and 450 Pro title hunt.
Medaglia, who did not compete in the western segment of the tour, had intended to race the 450 Pro class in the east as a privateer. He has been following an intense fitness and riding regimen during the spring months towards that end and is pumped to be joining his brother Tyler on the Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki team.

Tyler Medaglia shines on gloomy day in Prince George
Under overcast skies and a chilly temperature that hovered around 10° C, Tyler Medaglia shone brightly at Round 3 of the MRC Triple Crown Series MX Tour, which was held on Saturday, June 9 in Prince George, BC. On a physically demanding, deeply rutted and muddy Blackwater MX track, Medaglia recorded 3-2 moto results in the 450 Pro class to claim his second 3rd overall of the season.
