INTRODUCING THE MONSTER ENERGY ALPINESTARS PILLER’S KAWASAKI 2020 RACE TEAM
As the 2019 season comes to an end, the Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki race team & Huber Motorsports are already hard at work, solidifying their racing efforts for 2020. To continue their growth, the Huber Motorsports’ MX team will be moving to a 3-rider lineup to compete in the Canadian series.
A new addition for the upcoming season, Marshal Weltin will be joining the team aboard the 2020 Kawasaki KX250. With Weltin’s exceptional results through his young racing career, including a win and 4 podiums in last year’s MX TOUR series, Full Story…

MATT GOERKE ENDS THE 2019 SEASON ON TOP OF THE PODIUM
This past weekend was the final round of the 2019 TripleCrown series at the FirstOntario place in Hamilton, ON. Both Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki riders took on the indoor track and concluded the season on a high note. While Matt Goerke climbed on top of the podium in the 450 class, Tyler Medaglia was part of the lead battle in the 250 class and also made his way onto the podium.
After coming very close to the win at the last few races, Matt Goerke was determined to make it happen during the final round. Matt started his day well by qualifying 2nd, just 0.3sec behind the leader. As the night show rolled in, Goerke grabbed the holeshot in his heat race Full Story…

TYLER MEDAGLIA DOMINATES THE 250 CLASS IN QUEBEC CITY
The 2nd round of the Triple Crown SX Series saw the Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team traveling to the Centre Videotron in Quebec City. A well prepared track and great rider attendance made for an exciting night. As usual, the French fans were on the edge of their seats and boosting the racing atmosphere with their loud cheers. In the 250 class, Tyler Medaglia won everything there was to win, while in the 450 class, after pushing very hard to take the lead, Matt Goerke finished just outside the podium, in 4th place. THE MONSTER ENERGY / ALPINESTARS / PILLER’S / KAWASAKI RACE TEAM KICKS OFF THE SX SEASON IN STYLE
After a few weeks away from racing , the Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team was finally back at it for the 1st round of the SX series. The Supercross season kicked off at the famous Olympic Stadium in Montreal, QC, a venue known for its challenging track. The Montreal round also brings a slightly different format and invites AMA SX riders to join the Canadian series for a weekend, cranking up the competition in the 450 class. Despite some up and downs during race day, Matt Goerke was still able to secure some important points in this short, three round series, while his teammate, Tyler Medaglia saw his night caught short after a qualification crash resulted in a head injury. TYLER MEDAGLIA CONCLUDES THE MX TOUR SERIES ON THE PODIUM
For the last round of the outdoor season, the Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team made its way to the legendary Walton Raceway. Despite a little bit of rain in the morning, the track was in great condition by the time the first gate dropped and both Matt Goerke and Tyler Medaglia were able to secure excellent qualifiying positions. In the 250 class, Tyler was able to put himself in front in both motos and finished with a well deserved 2nd overall on the day. WITH ONE ROUND TO GO TO THE MX TOUR SERIES, TYLER MEDAGLIA & MATT GOERKE BET ON CONSISTENCY
Despite a little bit of rain through the motos, the penultimate round of the MX Tour series saw a perfect day on the sandy and hilly track of Deschambault. The Quebec round is always a special one, as the French Canadian fans are the loudest and most passionate spectators on the circuit. From the beginning of the day, the Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki Racing Team riders did a great job at positioning themselves as podium contenders. In the 250 class, Tyler Medaglia battled for a top 3 all day, finishing 5th in both races, while in the 450 class, Matt Goerke had an amazing 1st moto, but then had to settle for 8th in the second race, giving him 4thoverall on the day. HOLESHOT & TOP 5 FOR TYLER MEDAGLIA IN THE MARITIMES
The Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Racing Team made its way to the East Coast of Canada this past weekend for round 6 of the MX Tour series. After lots of sand and soft tracks, the New Brunswick track presented a different type of soil. The River Glade Motocross track was its usual consistency of dark dirt and ruts cut through its hard-packed ground. The heat was present once again and made things harder for the track crew to keep the soil moist. Nonetheless, in the 450 class, Matt Goerke had an amazing first moto until a mechanical took him out of the race with one lap to go, while Tyler Medaglia led a moto and kept himself in the top 5 overall. MATT GOERKE VICTORIOUS AT SAND DEL LEE
This past weekend, the beautiful track of Sand Del Lee was the host of one of the warmest Canadian outdoor nationals ever. The 5th round of the 2019 MX Tour will be one to remember for it’s incredibly hot and humid weather, but also for its great racing. Both team riders experienced highs and lows throughout the day, fighting the heat and leading the pack in their respective categories. While 250 rider, Tyler Medaglia, got the holeshot and led his first moto, Matt Goerke came back swinging in the 2nd 450 moto to win the race and the overall on the day.
After last weekend, Matt Goerke was looking for redemption. The heat did not seem to slow him down as he qualified 2nd in the highly competitive 450 class. Full Story…

THE MONSTER ENERGY / ALPINESTARS / PILLERS / KAWASAKI RACE TEAM BATTLES FOR THE LEAD AT GOPHER DUNES
After a 3-week hiatus, the Monster Energy Alpinestars Piller’s Kawasaki Race Team was back to racing for the first east coast round of the MX Tour series. Notorious for its deep sand and its roughness, the Gopher Dunes track did not disappoint. In the 250 class, Tyler Medaglia didn’t have it easy, but still proved his place was in the front, while in the 450 class, despite amazing qualifying times, bad luck kept Matt Goerke from finishing both races.

MATT GOERKE OVERCOMES INJURY TO WIN ROUND 3 OF THE MX TOUR SERIES
This past weekend, the Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team was traveling to Manitoba for the last western round of the MX Tour series. Mother nature was not in a good mood, with non-stop rain, very cold temperatures and heavy winds, leaving the track in disastrous conditions. None the less, Matt Goerke and Tyler Medaglia did not let the weather stop them from achieving an amazing redemption weekend, with a win for Matt and a podium for Tyler.
Matt Goerke came into this race weekend with a broken finger, questioning if he would be able to hold on to his handlebar for 2 full motos. Full Story…

MATT GOERKE & TYLER MEDAGLIA OVERCOME ADVERSITY AND CLAIM SOME VALUABLE POINTS
In the last week, the Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team made its way across the Canadian Rockies, all the way to Northern British Columbia. The sand based and hilly Blackwater Mx Park, located near the city of Prince George, was beautifully prepared and ready to welcome all the riders. While the team didn’t get the results they had worked hard for, both Matt Goerke and Tyler Medaglia rose above adversity and claimed some important championship points.
After placing 3rd in the morning qualifier, Matt Goerke knew he had a great day lined up ahead of him. In the first moto, Matt got a good start and engaged into a 3 way battle for 2nd place right away. Full Story…

THE MONSTER ENERGY / ALPINESTARS / PILLER’S / KAWASAKI RACE TEAM KICKS OFF THE OUTDOOR SEASON IN STYLE
After a month of racing hiatus, the Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team was back on the road and ready to attack the first round of the MX Tour series. The season’s first outdoor gate drop was taking place in Alberta, at the very hardpacked & rutty Wild Rose Motocross Park. The track, situated just outside of the heart of Calgary, always delivers a great panorama city backdrop. While the fire from northern Alberta made vision & breathing very difficult on Friday, the conditions got better on Saturday morning and Matt Goerke and Tyler Medaglia got to experience a sunny day with dry and dusty conditions. THE MONSTER ENERGY / ALPINESTARS / PILLER’S / KAWASAKI RACE TEAM FINISHES THE AX SEASON ON TOP
This past weekend was the last round of the 2019 AX Tour series in Barrie, Ontario. The Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team was in town and ready to give it their all to conclude the Arenacross portion of the TripleCrown series. Matt Goerke and Tyler Medaglia had an amazing day, and both went home with the victory in their respective class.
With a very competitive 450 class and only few points behind the championship lead, Matt knew what he had to do coming into the last round. UP & DOWN WEEKEND FOR THE MONSTER ENERGY / ALPINESTARS / PILLER’S / KAWASAKI RACE TEAM
The Sarnia Progressive Auto Center hosted the 3rd round of the AX Tour portion of the Triplecrown Series, this past weekend in Ontario. The Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team was present and eager for some racing after two weeks off. Round 3 offered a sticky, hard pack compound type track, which quickly became very rutted. Both Matt Goerke and Tyler Medaglia looked comfortable from the get going and gave impressive performances throughout the night.

MATT GOERKE LEAVES RD2 ONLY 4 POINTS AWAY FROM THE 450 CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD
The Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team was racing at the Agrium Western Centre in Calgary, Alberta this past weekend for the 2nd round of the AX Tour. The track was really different than the previous round and the team worked hard to make sure the bike would get the ideal setting for the hard-packed soil. The two Kawasaki riders were quick to adapt and both showed impressive speed throughout the day.

The Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team, starts the 2019 season with 2 podiums
The Monster Energy / Alpinestars / Piller’s / Kawasaki Race Team officially kicked off the 2019 season this past weekend in Abbotsford, BC, at the first round of the Arenacross Tour. The Abbotsford Centre was the host of a very challenging course. The freshly built indoor track was made of soft dirt and quickly became highly demanding for all the riders. None the less, both Kawasaki riders overcame the tough conditions and put on an amazing ride to finish the night on the podium.
In the 450 class, Matt Goerke started his day by setting the fastest time in both practice and qualifiers. His performance gave him a good confidence boost heading into the night show. Full Story…
